Let The Games Begin: Arnotts Children’s Fashion Weekend Is Here

With the back to school madness (just about) subsiding, now it’s time to turn your attention to the next task: sorting your little ones’ wardrobes out for the rest of the year. It can seem a daunting task; having to make sure they are fully kitted out and comfortable for the new, colder season. And the pressure can be immense because it is, after all, not your clothes you’re choosing – your kids will definitely want?(and deserve) to have a say when choosing their new outfits. They’ll have grown, have fully-formed opinions about the shoes/dress/jeans they want to wear and will absolutely tell you what they refuse to even try on.

So why not save yourself the stress (and the returns) and bring them shopping with you? Make a day of it; go to a place where they’ll not only have everything you need in the childrenswear department but the fun and games all sorted out for the kids too. To that end, there’s only one place: Arnotts Department Store.

To celebrate?their great home for Childrenswear on Basement Level, Arnotts is delighted to bring?a unique children’s extravaganza to life in store on the?14th to 15th?of October?2017.?Their ?board game? themed event will make the perfect family day out, with an abundance of entertainment, fashion and fun activities for children of all ages to enjoy. So, what can you expect over the two days?

SATURDAY, OCTOBER 14TH

It’s the kids that take center stage: Reuben The Entertainer will host the weekend of fun, with ‘kids only’ fashion shows styled by Linda Conway taking place on Saturday at 12.00pm, 2.00pm and 4.30pm.The budding fashionista models will showcase international brands such as Boss Kids, Ralph Lauren, ?BillieBlush, Tommy Hilfiger, Benetton, Polarn O. Pyret, Rachel Riley and Gant and more.

Flashmob dance performances by the Vicky Barry dance troop will entertain children of all ages (and you too!), while a ventriloquist and magician will excite the whole family.

SUNDAY, OCTOBER 15TH

On Sunday, it’s all about science!

Dr. Jennifer Cleary, a lover of all things science and a presenter on RT?2’s Insiders and Science Week Daily, will be demonstrating fun science experiments. Never scared of anything too gooey or gross, Jennifer will be ready to delight and explain the tricky elements (yes, of all things both gooey?and?gross); it’s sure to be a highlight of the weekend. Meanwhile, the host Reuben the Entertainer will also be treating the audience to a variety of games.

And because Arnotts believe you’re never too old to enjoy a good board game, throughout the weekend, there will be giant board games for all to play including Jenga, Connect 4, Lego and much more. For younger shoppers looking for a break from all the excitement, a visit to the Gant ?Never?Stop?Learning? jigsaw circle is essential. Balloon making and face painting will also be taking place throughout the weekend.

It’s a fun and fashion-filled extravaganza that neither you or the kids will want to miss, so mark it on your calendar now!
