How Celebrities Dress For A Festival

How Celebrities Dress For A Festival

As Electric Picnic kicks off, we’re taking an aspirational approach to festival dressing with a look at the outfits?worn by some of the biggest celebrity festival fans. From Kate Moss in those’shorts that are almost as tiny as Kylie’s to?Poppy Delevingne’s pretty print dress, here’s how the A-list dresses for a festival.

Model Poppy Delevingne has hit just the right note here. The print dress looks casual?and unfussy, while the shearling jacket and hooded top are the perfect way to layer up for such an all-weather occasion. The sturdy boots are practical but cool, and best of all, Poppy gets to show off her fabulous pins without looking like she’s deliberately trying to show them off. Clever.

Daisy Lowe goes for a simple sweater dress in forgiving black. The crossbody bag and black wellies are practical and functional but they also keep the look visually tight as they’re both in monochrome.

Model Portia Freeman covers up completely (how refreshing), but does it appropriately for a festival with layers of sheer, fluid fabrics. A little bit boho, a little bit romantic, but practical nonetheless. The Converse add a hit of urban cool to the whole ensemble.

Millie Mackintosh certainly has the legs for these black cut-off denim shorts, which look relaxed and laid-back when worn?with a pair of Converse. The military-style top?looks a little bit straight jacket-like though. Given that her shorts are so fitted, a looser, more fluid top would have worked better.

This is probably Kate Moss’s most iconic festival look – short shorts, wellies and waistcoat. It works – on her. I’d keep the waistcoat and replace the shorts with a maxi skirt instead. A bit more grown-up.
