The 76th Venice International Film Festival began mere days ago and stars including Brad Pitt, Martha Hunt, Sofia Richie and the great Meryl Streep have already flocked to the prestige event. It’s a red carpet that’s as big as Cannes, and while the films have everyone talking – specifically Timothée Chalamet’s Shakespearean turn in The King – the fashion is what the majority want to see.

So far, the fashion bar is high. Highlights include Lily-Rose Depp in a divine floaty lilac Chanel Haute Couture gown to the premiere of The King, Penelope Cruz’s OTT yet effortlessly elegant white Ralph & Russo gown and Sienna Miller’s beautiful, embellished blush-pink Gucci number.
Candice Swanepoel and Elsa Hosk wore slinky, custom Etro dresses and the whole of the Internet swooned when Chalamet wore a belted silver suit with ankle boots to the premiere of his anticipated Netflix film.
Above is a roundup of the best Venice Film Festival looks so far.
