01st Feb 2014
Cork based readers, y’all are in for a treat. This afternoon the directional and consistently cutting-edge Samui boutique will be showcasing the work of Danielle Romeril, the Dublin-born designer who first made an indelible impression during her time at London’s Royal College of Art where she won three high-profile awards, including The Swarovski & Sophie Hallette Award. Romeril also put in time as a designer at Amanda Wakely and after her Royal College graduate show was chosen to work at Alberta Ferretti’s studio in Italy. Drawing from all this incredible experience she went on to launch her own very well received collection in Autumn 2012. Samui will be launching the Spring/Summer 2014 collection today at an event from 3-5pm and we’re told all are welcome. Check out the above gallery for a hint of what to expect – we’re loving the sharp and short hints of aztec print – and Romeril’s website for more. There will also be cookies.
