Lazy day: 5 comfy yet stylish outfits, as chosen by our fashion team

Want to be comfy while still looking chic? These five outfits will do the job nicely

Getting dressed is a hard aul slog don’t you think?

Between wanting to be comfortable but needing to be fashionable, day to day we are putting our brains under severe pressure.

However, never fear because the IMAGE fashion team is here. We have put together five comfy yet fashionable outfits to help on those days when your head says to wear the high heels but your feet say no.

Balance

Trying to find the balance being style and comfort isn’t as difficult as it seems. Loungewear and cosy knitwear have stolen the hearts of us all, even the fashion elite. This means wearing a tracksuit day to day isn’t frowned upon.

For those who are afraid they may relive their teenage ‘O’Neills’ tracksuit days, don’t be. Nowadays, relaxed shapes are fashion commandments. Silk trousers and luxe knits are the best way to achieve a high-class yet soft look.

A good midi dress will provide you with a similar feeling to being naked in the best way possible. It’s a one-stop-shop for comfort and when worn with trainers, is the physical embodiment of ease. The same goes for midi skirts and oversized blazers – the latter of which you will find in every store right now.
