Always In Fashion: Biker Jackets

by Holly O'Neill
08th Jan 2016

1. Faux Leather Jacket, €49.95,
2. Textured Crushed Leather Biker Jacket, €247.50,
3. Distressed Leather Biker Jacket, €250,

The leather jacket was first invented in the early 1900s as a flight jacket in World War 1 to prevent exposure to extreme weather conditions. Function moved to fashion when bikers jackets were brought to fame originally by Marlon Brando, James Dean and Debbie Harry, right up to Kate Moss and the Olsen twins.

Biker jackets have remained a fierce wardrobe staple ever since and a biker jacket, jeans, ballet flats and a statement necklace are a trusted uniform to rely on. Wear your biker jacket model-off-duty style like Kendall Jenner’s look below or style it casually chic with these three looks.
