5 Minutes with our Cover Girl

By IMAGE
26th Jul 2014

The inside scoop on our cover girl, Sofia Fisher, and just what went on behind the scenes on our Field of Dreams shoot at Rock Farm, Slane.

Name: Sofia Fisher

Age: 20

Signed with: Models 1, London

From: Oxford, England

Has walked for: Chanel; Mulberry; Louis Vuitton; Marc Jacobs; Topshop

Best show: Chanel. The clothes are always so beautiful and the runway is always beautifully detailed!

Best shoot ever: This one, obviously, my first time in Ireland! My second was one for Love magazine, shot by Solve Sundsbo and styled by the amazing Katie Grand. The clothes were all white and we shot on Hampstead Heath with a smokey setting. It was romantic, eerie and just incredible.

Beauty regime: I keep it simple, Origins toner and once a week I use an Origins charcoal mask or exfoliator. Apart from that I drink lots of water and slap on the SPF 50 when the sun comes out.

The two things you need to survive being a model: The ability to not let rejection or criticism get to you, personality, and courage to be yourself to ensure you stand out from the hundreds of other beautiful girls casting for the same jobs.

Off-duty, I like: Boxing, watching films and the cinema, horse riding and baking cakes – unfortunately this hobby doesn’t go hand-in-hand with keeping in shape!

I get through show season with: Food. Always has to be nearby to keep energy levels up; a comfy pair of shoes for running from casting to casting and just my love of being on the runway keep me going.
