In case you were still holding out hope, let me be the one to burst your bubble – we won’t be getting normal Christmas parties this year. No big meals out, no cramming into pubs, no slobbering all over each other while shouting the lyrics to Fairytale of New York. I am absolutely all for postponing Christmas until next summer, when we can all enjoy a messy one with the vaccine is coursing through our veins, but for now, we’ll have to make do with the drudgery that is Zoom.
