Elixinol is going to change your skincare routine forever: Here’s how

Elixinol’s all-natural skincare line is anti-inflammatory, antioxidant and anti-ageing, working to smooth and soothe sensitive and spot-prone skin.

It seems there are always new ‘miracle’ ingredients trending in the skincare market, many of which are synthetic and can be harsh on sensitive skin. But what if I told you there was an all-natural alternative?

Elixinol‘s vegan skincare range utilises the benefits of CBD along with other natural ingredients. White tea and chamomile are included to target inflammation while rosehip is packed full of antioxidants to soothe acne-related redness. Vitamin C and Vitamin E work to counteract signs of ageing along with peptides that have been clinically proven to boost skin firmness, diminish fine lines and wrinkles, and reduce dark circles and puffiness underneath the eyes.

What is CBD?

CBD is a naturally occurring compound found in the hemp plant and is commonly used to treat natural health and beauty regimes.

A report authored by Dr. Paolo Giacomoni PhD, an independent consultant to the skincare industry, found that studies have shown that CBD oil has anti-inflammatory benefits when applied to the skin. He found that “the topical use of CBD can decrease skin inflammation and skin discomfort, as well as reactions such as pruritus, a form of severe skin itching affecting aged skin, thus offering a possible new approach for anti-ageing products.”

Vegan skincare

Elixinol’s new skincare line is also made with other all-natural components like avocado oil, olive extract, shea butter and aloe vera. It’s hydrating and calming properties work wonders on troublesome patches of dry skin.

The company works directly with hemp farmers around Europe to obtain the purest, organically grown hemp plants, which are then naturally processed to extract cannabidiol. This has allowed them to produce a vegan skincare range, free from unhealthy preservatives like parabens and sulfates. Plus, the skincare line comes in gorgeous recyclable packaging too.

What’s not to love?

Elixinol‘s CBD-infused range, including its much-hailed miracle oil, is now finally available in Ireland, exclusively at Boots.
