The Air Brush by Platinum is your tool for big-volume, salon-worthy hairstyling at-home

Meet The Air Brush — the new hair styling tool by Platinum designed to make salon-worthy hair at home simple

Missing your regular salon blowdry? Meet the easiest way to cheat professional results at home: The Air Brush, the first hair tool from Platinum Luxury Hair Extensions.

Onagh O’ Driscoll, the 28-year-old entrepreneur and managing director of Platinum Luxury Hair Extensions has not let the global pandemic hamper Platinum’s product innovation. Since March, they have expanded the Platinum empire, opened a new Headquarters in South Dublin (complete with warehouse, Instagram room, photo lab and training academy) and launched their first hair tool, The Air Brush, €69.

After closing the doors on their 3 hair salons in Dublin, Cork and Galway for the first lockdown in March, Onagh wanted Platinum clients to be able to achieve the salon-style hair perfection they come to Platinum salons for, from the comfort of their own home. So came The Air Brush, the simple-to-use heated hair brush allows you to create a voluminous blowdry in seconds.

“A lot of clients get a blow dry once a week in one of our salons,” says Onagh. “With the lockdown, this was no longer possible. I saw an opportunity to bring a hair tool to market that would help our clients create a full-bodied, bouncy blow-dry at home. The Air Brush is designed to dry, volumize and style your hair in one, simple step. It is so easy to use and adds big volume.”

Ellie Kelly, one of Ireland’s top hair, beauty and fashion influencers with over 250,000 Instagram followers has been one of Platinum’s main brand ambassadors from the start of their journey. ‘I am so excited to launch The Air Brush with Platinum,” says Ellie, who is the face of the first Platinum hair tool, “as I am a self-confessed hair volume addict I love it!”

The Air Brush completely sold out when it first launched, but we have one to give away to one lucky IMAGE reader! Enter the competition to win The Air Brush by Platinum here.

The Air Brush,€69, is available to pre-order at platinumluxuryhairextensions.com.
