Indulge in self-love this Valentine’s Day with these affordable fragrances

Here at IMAGE, we’re firm believers in self-love. After all, life is too short to wait around for other people to spoil us. That’s why this Valentine’s Day, we’re treating ourselves.

The best thing about self-love is it doesn’t have to break the bank. Whether it’s nabbing an extra 15 minutes in bed, making our favourite dish for dinner, or treating ourselves to a new signature scent, we can easily indulge in self-love on a budget.

A new Irish brand called Poppi & Pearl has launched eight unique fragrances, all of which cost just €14.95 each. Each fragrance is specially selected, with certain scents denoting warmth and comfort; such as vanilla or sandalwood.

Or, if you’d prefer to awaken your senses this Valentine’s Day, scents of grapefruit and sage are excellent choices. Alternatively, a combination of rose and oud stimulates a sense of femininity and romance.

For the day that’s in it, we’re leaning towards Velvet Rose & Oud. With its rare mix of floral and woody tones, this perfume is feminine and sexy all at once. Scent aside, the clear glass bottle is beautiful too.

Not a fan of femininity? No problem. Poppi & Pearl’s Wood Sage & Sea Salt scent is also sumptuously romantic, without being overly girly. It’s herbaceous with a subtle hint of the seaside; and what’s more, the bottle will look gorgeous on your dressing table.
