The Girl’s Room Galentines celebration

Returning for the third year in a row, The Girl’s Room will be back in Workman’s this weekend with another V-day event. Set across three distinct spaces, there’ll be a playroom, a zen area and of course, a dance floor. There’ll be DJ sets, stick and poke tattoos, tarot readings, tooth gems, and hand-drawn portraits too.
Siúcra at Sally Longs

The Galway band are back with their first gig of 2025 in Sally Longs, where they’ll be playing a silky smooth blend of original tunes and top-tier covers. Their bluesy trad-tinged rendition of Britney Spears’ ‘Toxic’ is pint-spillingly good and their own track ‘Dead Orchid’ will leave you misty-eyed. Basically, it’s a mixed bag of sugary goodness. Candlelight Valentine’s: Timeless Love Songs

A stunningly romantic way to spend Valentine’s Day, this hour-long concert brings the magic of a live, multi-sensory musical experience to St Andrew’s Parish Church under the gentle glow of candlelight. Performed by Avoca String Quartet, the evening’s setlist includes songs from The Beatles, Elton John, Hans Zimmer and Celine Dion.

“Valentine’s Day might be over, but love goes on — for yourself and the planet you live on!” says Fashion Flip, who are hosting another clothes swap event at Bismarck in Stoneybatter, and they’ll be contributing a portion of the ticket sales to donations for LauraLynn Children’s Hospice. Bring up to six pieces of clothing that are second-hand or new, clean, and in good condition, and you can swap to your heart’s content.
