Penneys has just announced a skincare range by GLAMOUR Beauty Director Alex Steinherr

Penneys has always been a go-to for shoppers looking for beauty on a budget, but their latest cosmetics announcement is on another level. The brand has announced that, after two years of research and development, a 20-piece CFI certified collection with beauty expert, associate creative and beauty director of GLAMOUR Alex Steinherr.

The collaboration, specially curated by Steinherr, includes high-end ingredients at typical Primark prices; with hyaluronic acid, niacinamide and squalene for just €4 to €6 per product. The collection is also cruelty-free, fragrance-free, vegan-friendly and contains no parabens, no phthalates, no essential oils and no sulfates.

The Alex Steinherr x Primark Collection aims to target skin concerns such as dehydration, tiredness, dullness, pore congestion and skin affected by urban life, with five ranges designed to hone in on these problems. The ranges – Sleep Spa, Pore Balance, Maximum Moisture, Plump & Glow and Pollution Solution – each feature individual products that you can mix and match to create a custom skincare routine.

Speaking about the launch of the line, Steinherr said: “I’ve always been obsessed with skincare. I have been incredibly lucky over the years! I’ve had a career that allowed me to test thousands of products and have constant access to the most well-respected skincare experts.

“I am asked every day to recommend a range of products to suit a range of budgets, so when Primark approached me to create a skincare line, I knew we could create something really special together that worked both in terms of price and performance,” she added.

The Alex Steinherr x Primark Collection will be available in selected Irish stores from 8th October
