From Makeup Counter To Beauty Startup: Aimee Connolly

She’s only half way through her twenties and Aimee Connolly’s already laid the groundwork for a business empire with two beauty startups.

Best known as a beauty influencer and celebrity makeup artist, rocking a social following of more than 90,000, Dubliner Aimee Connolly’s also a very serious businesswoman.

Just two years out of UCD Commerce and French, Aimee’s already a proven entrepreneur- she’s taken her passion for makeup and created Sculpted, her own line of products and achieved nationwide distribution (look for them in The Loop, pharmacies and department stores). She’s also running courses at Sculpted The Makeup Academy and continuing to personally provide sessions with private clients for weddings, TV and special occasions.

Aimee is an intuitive marketer with plenty of practical learnings to share about her experience.

Hear how her Transition Year work experience with Benefit kickstarted a high-powered career and what her next plans are at our next Young Businesswomen’s Forum in the Westbury Hotel on November 15. Our expert panel (Aimee, Ellen Kavanagh of Waxperts and Marija Aslimoska of Parfumarija) will give you real insight into the beauty industry and real inspiration about how to pursue your dreams of owning your own business, whether it be in the beauty industry or another field.
