Launching this summer, the patent pending Jo loves Shot Candle has been unveiled. Originally inspired by a chance moment in New York “when I had the idea to create a bespoke candle that combined not one, but two fragrant moments” there’s no other product on the market quite like this. “It’s the first time that I’ve designed a product that invites you to become part of the creative process by blending your own moments and memories together.”
As for how to create your bespoke shot candle? Simply select your base scent from the menu of fragrance inspirations and then drop in your chosen ‘shot’ to bring your personal scent memories to life. Whether you opt for the scent of a Mediterranean garden, a summery cocktail or the smell of home, each handmade candle will be unique to you, or whomever you choose to gift.
The base selection includes Mint Mojito, Tahitian Gardenia, Charcoaled Lemons and Fig Trees while the Candle Shot selection includes Lemongrass, Mango, Petitgrain and White Rose & Lemon Leaves. Arriving on shelves in autumn, you’ll find Ouzo & Honey, Salted Caramel, Paperwhites and Frangipani. Including a one-on-one consultation, the Shot Candle is currently exclusively available at the brand’s new studio in London, however Irish fans can purchase their very own online via joloves.com. When in London, we highly recommend a visit to the store as it’s quite the experience. A 260g candle retails at €75 in the UK. 
Of course, with Jo Loves you’ll be opened up to a whole new world of wearable scents. We’ve been mesmerised by Pomelo, an energising mix of pink pomelo, vetiver, rose, clove, suede and patchouli. “Inspired by memories of summer holidays; white sandy beaches, fresh linen sheets and sparkling iced water, I surround myself with Pomelo wherever I go.
