Irish beauty influencers reveal the products they cannot live without

We follow them on Twitter and regularly scope out their Insta Stories, but which products do Irish beauty influencers really rely on when out and about? We asked Louise Cooney, Aimee Connolly, and Mark Rogers (who are all nominated in this year’s IMAGE Business of Beauty Awards) to name the hero beauty products they cannot live without.

Louise Cooney

NARS Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation, €45

Louise describes this foundation as her new favourite, and we can see why. This high-coverage make-up is surprisingly lightweight and doesn’t clog the skin. It’s breathable and stays in place for up to 16 hours. Available in 20 shades, you’re almost guaranteed to find your perfect match – not to mention its formula will make your skin glow.

Charlotte Tilbury Hot Lips Lipstick in ‘Nude Kate’, €30

“This (dare I say it) is my favourite nude lipstick,” Louise reveals, so she couldn’t possibly leave home without it. The formula is infused with antioxidants to keep her lips looking (and feeling) smooth and healthy.

Tom Ford The Ultimate Bronzer, €88

This luxurious, long-lasting formula combines both powder and liquid technology. It can be used lightly for a subtle glow or built up for a more dramatic finish.

Aimee Connolly

Sculpted by Aimee Connolly Shader & Highlighter Palette, €24.95

“So, I have to be biased here and say that my Sculpted palette is one of my top three must-bring products. I would be lying if I said I didn’t wear it every day. It’s guaranteed.” This multi-functional palette can be used on the face as bronzer and highlight, as well as the eyes as eyeshadow. It’s suitable for all skin-types and creates a fresh, sun-kissed look.

MAC Strobe Cream 50 ml, €34

“Next would be some sort of luminous base, such as MAC Strobe cream,” Aimee says. Packed with vitamins, this strobe cream brightens and freshens tired, dull-looking skin. If that’s not in stock – Aimee opts for First Aid Beauty Coconut Skin, €24.95.

“I love these type of products for moisturising the skin and giving a glow at the same time.”

MAC lip liner in ‘Spice’, €17.50

“Lastly, it would have to be lip liner. I just love lip liner! If I had to be picky and choose a shade for the rest of my life it would be MAC Spice.”

Mark Rogers

Benefit Precisely My Brow, €26.50

This waterproof pencil comes in a multitude of shades and stays in place for up to 12 hours. With just a few quick strokes, brows are filled and defined. “I have no face without this,” Mark tells us.

Flormar Perfect Coverage foundation, €11.95

Mark says, “It covers a multitude of problems and it has SPF in it – so two birds with one stone!” This creamy formula won’t dry out your skin and promises to leave skin beautifully radiant.

Sculpted by Aimee Connolly Palette, €24.95

Ah, Sculpted, we meet again. Marks says, “I need bronze and highlight to give some life to my very pasty, pale Irish skin.” This palette is perfect for that. The shades aren’t overly dark for daywear, but they can be built up if needs-be.
