All the highlights from the first ever IMAGE Beauty Festival

All the highlights from the first ever IMAGE Beauty Festival

Catch all the highlights from our first-ever IMAGE Beauty Festival, powered by Samsung. Missed out? Fear not, there’s always next year!

IMAGE recently hosted Ireland’s first ever Beauty Festival, powered by Samsung, bringing the beauty pages of your favourite magazine to life. This two-day adventure featured international heavy-hitters, some of our favourite influencers, inspirational talks and top brands.

Having worked with so many beauty entrepreneurs over the years in IMAGE, we always knew Ireland punched above its weight when it comes to the pros, so we were thrilled to host many of them under the same roof.

We even flew in a few extra special guests exclusively for the weekend for talks, demos and masterclasses. Together, we discussed skincare, make-up and hair, of course, but also delved into wider beauty movements such as body positivity and alternative approaches to the industry, as well as tips on how to make a living from social media and building a beauty brand. We might be biased, but the pictures attest just how incredible the weekend was.

Beauty decoded

Visitors to the Boots Beauty Lounge discovered a world of cult brands, expert tips and complimentary products from the beauty pick ‘n’ mix. The Boots Beauty Stage played host to some of Ireland’s finest make-up artists, skincare experts and influencers.

Treatments

Everywhere you turned, there was an abundance of complimentary treatments to explore. From The Loop’s mini manis to OGX’s braid bar, hot tool styling from Platinum and Silke and 3D scans from Your Smile Direct to luxurious hand massages courtesy of Dove, attendees were spoiled for choice.

Star speakers

Celebrity guests, influencers and industry legends took to the Samsung Beauty Theatre to share insights, tips and tricks in lively interviews and panel discussions. Special mention must go to our headline act, LA-based make-up artist Patrick Ta, who flew into Dublin for his first ever Irish masterclass.

Cover star

It appears we’ll never have to struggle for another cover star again, if the activity around the IMAGE cover area is anything to go by. Visitors sat in front of Glam Doll mirrors and enjoyed expert prep courtesy of No7 before taking their rightful place on the cover of their favourite magazine.

Beauty festivals can be thirsty work, so we were particularly delighted to host Bloom London Dry Gin, Diet Coke, Ribena and Skinny Moo, who offered visitors a wide variety of welcome refreshments over the course of the weekend.
