Ahead of the event, we chatted to Tara about quick make-up and glam-on-the-go for the perfect Christmas party look.

“There is so much happening around the month of December, with work Christmas parties, family get-togethers and festive nights out with your friends. I have a few really quick tips and tricks to help you get party-ready in under ten minutes.

  1. Statement Lip: The festive season is a great time to go for a bold lip. It is also such a good makeup cheat as you can literally keep the eyes neutral with a few coats of mascara and you are done. Everyone needs a red lipstick on standby and my go-to is Lancôme L’Absolu Rouge in ‘Caprice’.
  2. A Party Eye: I think we all are magpies when it comes to a bit of sparkle, I know I am.
I love the Stila Magnificent Metal liquid pigments. These were probably my favourite makeup new release of 2017. Cloud10Beauty.com have a huge range of shades but my favourite has to be ‘Kitten Karma’. Simply pat a small amount on to the middle of the eyelid for a subtle sparkle.
  3. Glowing skin: This is something that I would do all year round but if you aren’t big on highlight the festive season is a good time to give it a go. There are so many fabulous highlighters on the market at the moment but two of my favourites are Charlotte Tilbury Flawless Filter & Flormar Double Radiance Primer. Simply mix a drop of your liquid highlighter in with your regular foundation for beautiful, glowing skin.”
