Fashion weeks this season saw designers like Topshop Unique and Fenty x Puma opt for dewy, fresh-looking make-up. We expect this look to be popular this summer (particularly at music festivals) and as always, we want to perfect the look for ourselves. The great thing about dewy skin is that you can go as subtle or as extreme as you want. Prefer a simple, sun-kissed glow? You got it. Want to go all holographic? Easy. It’s just a matter of finding the right beauty products for your desired look.

Sun-kissed glow

This look was created using Catrice Light Correcting Serum Primer, €4.95, and California In A Box Bronzer & Blush Palette, €9.99. Golden shimmer, bronze contours and radiant highlights conjure-up a flawless summer glow on the face, neck and décolleté. Finish the look by using metallic or colour accents on the lips and eyes.

Natural glow

A healthy glow can be created very quickly and easily. Begin by moisturizing the skin so that you have a glowy base to start with. A delicate line of Catrice Galactic Highlighter Drops, €4.99, on the bridge of your nose or along the cupid’s bow of the lips will gently emphasize the natural contours of your face. Apply the drops to anywhere the light hits – such as the inner corners of your eyes, underneath the brow arch, above the cheekbones and on the temples.

Dewy, wet look

This look is great for a summer’s night out. You’ll want everyone’s attention on your eyes, so avoid bold lip colours in favour of pale pink and nude tones. Holographic glow

Here’s one for all the festival lovers out there. Whether you like rainbow colours, metallics or ultra high-shine, there’s no limit to the imagination with this trend.
