All I Want For Christmas Is Mariah Carey’s Second Mac Collection

MAC has unveiled their latest Christmas collaboration and it’s with none other than Mariah Carey… as if we didn’t need any other reason to love her. The new collection is completely inspired by Mariah’s over-the-top glamorous lifestyle and it’s bright and sparkly and we love it.

Mariah isn’t necessarily reinventing the wheel with this collection, but it’s definitely a nostalgic throw-back and a nod to better, more highlighted times. Think crystals, nude hues, soft pinks, delicacy, and decadence. It should come as no surprise that silver glitter and metallic gold elements accent every piece which includes?a buffer brush, an eye shader brush, a liquid-powder highlighter, false eyelashes, two eyeshade palettes, four shades of lip gloss, five shades of lipstick, two lip pencils, a liquid eyeliner, body powder and two shades of blush.

But when has the songstress ever known to be minimalistic? The formula’s are said to be extravagantly full of luminous shimmer – perfect for replicating Carey’s infamously dewy skin. And as an added extra, the 27-piece collection also contains names inspired by her greatest hits including ?It’s Just Like Honey? and ?Little Miss Monroe?. What’s more, there’s an all-over body sparkle (aptly named “Touch My Body”), which comes in a retro canister complete with a bow-accented puff – so now you can sparkle just like Mimi this season.
