3 Brilliant Budget Foundation Dupes You’ll Want To Buy

3 Brilliant Budget Foundation Dupes You’ll Want To Buy

Hands up if you’ve ever?purchased an outrageously expensive beauty product? Guilty and then some; particularly?when it comes to foundation. The ill-informed me always thought that to get a decent foundation, you had to fork out huge amounts per bottle, but it’s no longer the case. ?Now you can afford to be a little more money savvy – because?paying a little?less doesn’t mean the quality goes down – in fact, you might find you prefer the high-street version which means you can buy two bottles at a time instead of one (anyone else live?in Fear their shade of choice runs out?). ?So, in the interest of protecting your pennies, we’ve rounded up three revered and favoured budget-friendly foundations that are as good as their high-quality counterparts:

Bourjois?City Radiance Foundation, €12.95

This has a light, dewy, finish, yet it’s long-wearing – it completely blends into the skin and looks so natural, you’d be hard pressed to think you were wearing much at all. The finish is much like the Chanel Vitalumiere Aqua ?38 in that it doesn’t sink into fine lines, wrinkles or acne marks. It has almost a gel-like texture in that it’s cooling and moisturising once applied – not a patch of flaky skin in sight and, therefore, suitable for all skin types. I save the Chanel for a special occasion but this I can wear as often as I like as it’ll only set me back just over €10 – win.

Rimmel Match Perfection Foundation, €9.99

It’s silky, satin texture with a medium coverage leaves you with a dewy finish, and the shade ranges are superb. Its high-quality counterpart in my eyes is YSL’s Le Teint Touche Eclat Foundation, €42 and while it’s a beautiful foundation, I find Rimmel’s has a tad more staying power. It’s one for your every day – save YSL for a special occasion.

L?Oreal Paris True Match Lumi Cushion Foundation, €21.99

2017 is all about the cushion foundation. My first go-to point was Lancome’s Miracle Cushion, €38 ?(so much love for Lancome) ?because it provides lightweight, blendable, and natural-looking coverage that holds up without fading or creasing, but I find I go through this quite quickly as I prefer a heavier coverage. L?Oreal’s True Match Lumi Cushion offers the same texture, wear for fewer pennies which means I can go through more than one and not feel guilty for buying another.
