WATCH: Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher poke fun over their relaxed bathing habits

WATCH: Mila Kunis and Ashton Kutcher poke fun over their relaxed bathing habits

‘You’re putting water on the children?! Are you trying to melt them?!’ Kutcher yells in the clip.

The Hollywood couple released a video mocking the commentary over their more relaxed habits when it comes to showering, poking fun at the whole thing.

They recently told the Armchair Expert podcast that while they wash their, ahem, vitals every day, they don’t shower or bathe as often – a policy that includes their children Wyatt and Dimitri, six and four.

“I don’t wash my body with soap every day, Mila told the host.”When I had children, I also didn’t wash them every day. I wasn’t the parent that bathed my newborns – ever.”

Kutcher added: “If you can see the dirt on them, clean them. Otherwise, there’s no point.”

Responding to media and public’s interest in the story, Kutcher shared a video on Instagram of himself and Kunis during bath time.

In the clip, captioned “this bathing thing is out of hand”, Kutcher shouts in mock-outrage: “You’re putting water on the children?! Are you trying to melt them?! This is ridiculous! What’s going on?”

Through her laughter, Kunis responds: “We’re bathing our children.”

While the whole thing has sparked a personal hygiene debate, it also begs the question, how much is the ‘right’ amount to bathe?  It comes down to preference and a number of deciding factors but also, it’s no one else’s business.
