Taste of Dublin 2021: Finally, there’s a reason to get dressed up with the girls next weekend

Taste of Dublin is back, and they’ve joined forces with Dyson for the ultimate giveaway, gifting one lucky TOD attendee with a Dyson Airwrap, Supersonic hair dryer and Corrale straightener.

Remember nights out in town? It’s easy to miss the ritual of it all – slipping into your favourite dress, meeting the girls for a few cocktails, dancing until your feet ache and blowing off the steam of a long work week.

For a while now, we’ve been counting down the days until we can have a proper get together with our friends, especially one that gets us out of our WFH loungewear and into a fresh and fun outfit.

Thankfully, Taste of Dublin is back and offering an amazing incentive to do just that. From September 1 to September 5, visitors can enjoy Ireland’s hottest restaurants, mingle with homegrown chefs, indulge in gourmet produce, or simply relax and enjoy being outdoors in the city with friends.

Best dressed prize

For those eager to dress up for the occasion, make sure you buy your ticket for Friday, September 3.

Dyson will be debuting a showcase on the future of hair styling, with expert-led styling tips for all hair types. Plus, they’ll be scouting the crowd for the most stylish Taste of Dublin attendees.

From 12pm to 3pm, a team of judges led by Dyson Ambassador Niamh O’Sullivan, plus Irish Tatler Editor Jessie Collins and Grá chocolates Gráinne Mullins, will choose the best dressed winners.

The lucky finalists will win an incredible prize – the ultimate Dyson styling bundle. This includes:

  • A Dyson Supersonic hair dryer
  • A Dyson Airwrap hair styler
  • A Dyson Corrale hair straightener

Finally, we have the perfect reason to get dressed up with the girls next weekend.

When and where

The Taste of Dublin Style Afternoon in association with Dyson takes place during the 12pm to 4pm session at Taste of Dublin, Iveagh Gardens, Friday September 3rd.

The selected finalists will be presented with their prizes between 3pm and 4pm.

Tickets are priced from €20 (excluding booking fee) and are on sale now. For more information or to purchase tickets, click here.

Now in its fifteenth year, Taste of Dublin continues to champion the creators of Ireland’s flourishing food scene, and this year, it will feature a new flavour of Irish culture and arts content. Find everything you need including full chef, restaurants and live entertainment line-ups here.
