Søstrene Grene drops its bumper Christmas 2020 collection today

There are so many items from the Søstrene Grene Christmas 2020 drop that we couldn’t possibly list them… oh okay, if you insist!

Can’t believe we’re saying it but without the hustle and bustle of a busy shopping street and Christmas tunes blasting on every shop floor, it doesn’t feel like Christmas is a mere five weeks away (it is). Dare we say, we actually miss it?

But fear not, Søstrene Grene is here to get us all into a jolly spirit with their take on a Scandinavian Christmas. Since the Danish shop arrive don our shores a few years ago they’ve revolutised on home interiors – be honest, you know more candleholders now than ever. They’ve also stepped up our festive game with their always-dreamy Christmas collection and now their 2020 iteration is finally here.

Done in two drops, an October drop to dip your toe in, and then a bumper November drop that really sets the tone for the coming few weeks. And what might you expect, you ask?

The Table

From elegant candlesticks to simple napkin rings and decadent glassware, set the festive table with a flourish this year. Søstrene Grene embraces brassy, unpolished tones and shades of green this year, for a simple and sophisticated table, that allows dinner to take centre stage.
Napkin ring €2.78, star candle holder €3.48, dipped candles €4.70 for four, brass Christmas tree €4.48, wine glass €1.56

The Tree

While their first Christmas drop in October focused on decor for around the house, this one is all about the Christma street, from the classic green and red baubles to sweet timber options and old-fashioned angels.
Large Christmas baubles €4.20 each, small Christmas baubles €1.98 each

The Presents

Whether you’re on the hunt for the perfect Kris Kindle or are one of those people whose just awaiting a sleigh full of presents courtesy of the postman, it’s always worth a nose in Søstrene Grene. From stocking fillers to beautiful wooden gifts for the smallies, you will have plenty of inspiration. And then there’s the wrapping section, a veritable Christmas workshop for anyone who loves wrapping paper and stationery (that’d be me).
Wrapping paper  from €1.49 for four metres, Velvet ribbon, €2.88 for 3 metres, plain ribbon, 98cent for 10 metres, weaved design ribbon €1.30 for 3 metres

The Kitchen

Last but never ever least, especially when it comes to Christmastime, the kitchen. From cups that could hold a bowl of hot chocolate to baking accessories that make sweet treats almost too good to eat, they’ve also got a beautiful retro set of plates and serveware that you’ll look forward to unpacking year after year.
Glass decanter €4.88, porcelain jug €4.58, silver candleholders €1.99 each, small stone bowls €2.38 each, stonware mugs €3.34 each

Spot anything to whip you into a festive frenzy? The Søstrene Grene Christmas 2020 collection is in store from today, Thursday November 19.
