No such thing as a free lunch? There is now

If you rarely leave your desk during the working day, and habitually ignore the “break” part of the term “lunch break”, then allow us to invite you to an exclusive #TakeBackLunch event this June…

IMAGE has collaborated with Greene Farm to host a bespoke lunch that will be taking place on Thursday, June 21st at the gorgeous La Cucina restaurant, located in the heart of South William Street. And you’re invited. Guests will be treated to healthy lunch recipes using delicious, hand prepared Greene Farm products which are made from 100% natural ingredients and are allergen free.

The event centres on the importance of taking a break from the screen and savouring your lunch break. The speakers will explore the benefits that doing so can have on your physical and mental well-being.

Where: La Cucina restaurant, Powerscourt Townhouse Centre

When: Thursday, June 21st

Time: 12:30-2:30pm

Lizzie Gore-Grimes, IMAGE editor-in-chief

IMAGE editor-in-chief Lizzie Gore-Grimes will be joined by Laura Archer, author of Gone for Lunch: 52 Ways To Enjoy Your Lunch Break who is flying in from London for the day. Laura Archer failed to take a lunch break from her busy work schedule for several weeks at a time and finally one day she decided enough was enough. She set herself challenges for the following year, ranging from indoor to outdoor activities including; yoga classes, bike rides, volunteering and brushing up on her drawing skills. The effect it had on her mental and physical state was magical.

If you want to implement some positive changes to your work day and make an enjoyable lunch break a reality, let IMAGE and Greene Farm treat you to a free lunch.
