26 metallic homeware pieces to add a warm, burnished mood

26 metallic homeware pieces to add a warm, burnished mood

Add a warm glint and glimmer to your home with these shiny finds.

I am a self-certified lover of winter – everything from the dropping temperatures to the muted colours of the landscape delights me. But the one aspect of the season which I cannot get on board with is the darkness.

It never fails to shock me, causing me to comment every day (in a way I am certain is not at all annoying) how it simply couldn’t be this dark so early, as if my disbelief will cause the sun to reconsider, and pop back up for a few hours. So far, no luck on that front.

So instead, I am leaning into anything to add some much needed light and warmth into my home. Metallic pieces are a perhaps surprisingly great way to do this. Although some may consider them cold, by reflecting light, they diffuse light around a space, and if you opt for warm-toned metals like gold and brass, it will add extra softness.

Here are 26 pieces on my wish list.
