Looking for a new read? Pandora Sykes has started a book club

Finding your next great read is about to get a whole lot easier.

In constant search of what to read next? Forever missing the reading commendations from Dolly Alderton and Pandora Sykes’ podcast The High Low? Well, the author specials we still pine for are back, in a way. Journalist, author and podcaster Pandora Sykes will be bringing you her recommendations in a whole new format than her occasional Instagram post. She has just launched a new book subscription and author event series, Pandora’s Books.

With her own bestselling collection of essays How Do We Know We’re Doing It Right?, a host of author interviews under her belt from Bernadine Evaristo to Emily Ratajkowski, not to mention the Instagram book recommendations that live in our saved folders and the many, many books she endorsed on The High Low, bookworm Pandora is exactly who you want to suggest your next read.

Pandora’s Books will send a monthly book in the post, online and IRL access to an event with Pandora in conversation with the author and a newsletter with an essay from Pandora about the book, with reading recommendations from famous authors and more.

Launched earlier this year, there are two different monthly plans to choose from; Pandora’s Books Events or Pandora’s Books Bundle with various access. This month’s book is The School for Good Mothers by Jessamine Chan while April’s read is Sorrow and Bliss by Meg Mason.

Best news – Pandora’s Books ships internationally, and starts at roughly €12 a month.“From debut novelists to literary big hitters, Pandora’s thoughtful choices are sure to spark (or reignite!) your passion for reading,” says the site. “In a world of ‘must-reads’ and towering TBR piles, this is the ideal book subscription service for anyone needing a helping hand with their reading list.”
