All of Ireland’s Michelin Star restaurants for 2026

Forest Avenue in Dublin and The Pullman in Galway have become Ireland’s newest one-star restaurants, while all Irish Michelin-starred restaurants retain their status.

On Monday, February 9, The Michelin Guide Ceremony for Great Britain & Ireland 2026 took place at the Convention Centre in Dublin, marking the first time the ceremony was hosted on Irish soil. While there were no three-star accolades awarded, all restaurants already carrying a one- and two-star status retained their status, and two new restaurants joined their ranks.

Dublin restaurant Forest Avenue and The Pullman, located at Glenlo Abbey Hotel in Galway, each earned their first Michelin star at the ceremony. The Guide praised the former for its “minimalist, casual elegance”, recommending the full tasting menu experience, and commended The Pullman’s “impossibly elegant setting”, while noting that the service is “as unstuffy as it is attentive.”

A special 2026 Michelin Service Award was earned by St Francis Provisions in Kinsale, Cork. The award places a spotlight on hospitality as well as food, and underlines the county’s reputation for warm, personal dining experiences. In the restaurant’s Guide listing, it reads: “There’s just something so lovable about this laid-back little restaurant in the centre of a colourful coastal town. That’s largely down to the friendly and genuine service team, along with a wonderful buzz inside the small dining room that holds just 15 seats.”

Thankfully, no Irish restaurants lost their star(s), with a total of five restaurants retaining their two-star status, and 18 eateries holding on tight to their one-star status.
