16 great prints and posters to add some life to your walls

Some new art is an easy way to refresh a space, but it doesn’t have to be expensive — as these colourful prints and posters prove.

If you’re looking at a room and just wishing it felt different — more interesting, more calming, more welcoming, more playful — it can feel overwhelming to try and achieve it.

However, while a new coat of paint or switching up your furniture are obviously great options, you don’t necessarily have to put in as much effort (and money) as this to change how a space feels. Adding a new piece of art to the walls is an easy way to add colour, pattern, or just a new focus to a space.

And while we’re all for saving up for special pieces of art you keep for a lifetime, posters and prints are a great complement to these, or are a low-cost way to add interest to a wall while you’re looking for the perfect piece.
