Another royal baby is on the way.

Princess Eugenie and husband Jack Brooksbank are expecting their first child.
Buckingham Palace confirmed the happy news this morning via an announcement from the Royal Family Twitter account, revealing that a new royal baby is due in early 2021.

“Her Royal Highness Princess Eugenie and Mr Jack Brooksbank are very pleased to announce that they are expecting a baby in early 2021,” the statement read.

“The Duke of York and Sarah, Duchess of York, Mr and Mrs George Brooksbank, The Queen and the Duke of Edinburgh are delighted with the news.”

The princess also shared a photo of an adorable tiny pair of teddy bear baby shoes, along with a picture of herself and her husband of almost two years, with the caption, “Jack and I are so excited for early 2021…”

The couple celebrated their 10th anniversary together back in April, with the princess saying, “we are lucky enough to be together at this time.”

Two years ago, she married her long-term boyfriend Jack Brooksbank in St George’s Chapel on the grounds of Windsor Castle.

The bride wore an incredible Peter Pilotto and Christopher De Vos gown and had specifically requested a backless gown in order to consciously bare her scoliosis scars to the world. “I had always wanted a low back,” she explained at the time.

“Part of it was showing my scar and I believe scars tell a story about your past and your future, and it’s a way of getting rid of a taboo.”

She then made a unique statement with her fashion choice for the evening event; preferring a gown with colour as opposed to a similarly traditional white second outfit as both Kate Middleton and Meghan Marke opted for.

It was inspired by the beauty of Windsor, the surrounding countryside and the “blush of an English rose,” according to designer Zac Posen who created the gown, especially for the princess.
