Interested in all things ‘royal’? A new trailer for the upcoming Prince Harry and Meghan Markle documentary has been released

A new documentary about Prince Harry and Meghan Markle is set to air on Sunday, October 20.

The anticipated production, which was led by ITV News at Ten journalist Tom Bradby, will show the royal couple’s recent 10-day tour of Africa (not to mention their son, Archie’s first big venture into public life).

Entitled Harry & Meghan: An African Journey, the documentary will show the Duke and Duchess of Sussex speaking exclusively to Bradby about the causes and issues they care most about. It will also highlight “their fresh and personal approach to being modern royals,” ITV says.

‘Fascinating insight’

This is the third documentary Bradby has made with Prince Harry in Africa, though it’s the first with Meghan Markle and Baby Archie in-tow.

ITV spent the full 10-day tour with the royals; gaining exclusive behind-the-scenes access to the world’s most talked-about couple.

Bradby will explore their compassion and impactful work, alongside the challenges and pressure they face living as a young family on the global stage. He will examine how they try to balance their public duties and private life under media scrutiny.

“I expected it to be an interesting journey,” he said, “but this ended up being a fascinating insight taking in their passion for their work, their private happiness and the challenge and pressure of balancing their public duties and family life.”
