Zara obsessives; brace yourselves.?As longstanding fans of the Spanish brand’s unique, lean cuts and minimalist style, we hardly noticed they had one gap in the market they had yet to fill – activewear. Gym bunnies need bemoan this fact no longer as they have quietly launched a new collection of gym and leisurewear – available to order in Ireland in the next couple of weeks – and we love it all, as is the case for any new Zara collection. The?Gymwear section is divvied up into four categories: lightweight pieces (mix-and-match tops and bottoms, sports bras, and jackets), statement swimwear (sporty one-pieces, towels, and pool slides), monochrome basics (yoga-centric gear featuring loose-fitting, flowy staples), and luxe loungewear (an obligatory, but unofficial nod to Athleisure, and perfect for a lazy day).

The collection ranges from the expected gym fare (T-shirts, plain leggings, and sweatshirts) to items such as gym bags, yoga onesies and trainers that look too nice to wear while working out if we’re honest.

As usual, the price points are reasonable, and Zara won’t skimp on quality. The smaller items such as hairbands start from €4.95; leggings are €12.95, swimsuits are €19.95, and sneakers/runners are €39.95, so no matter what your budget, you’ll be able to nab something from the collection.

See a sample of the items available in our gallery above and keep an eye on their website (it says the collection should be available to order in two weeks) and in store for the sports line.

We can scarcely wait.
