View the work of this year’s Limerick School of Art & Design fashion graduates

Last week, the Limerick School of Art & Design unveiled the work of its BA Fashion Design and BA Fashion, Knitwear & Textiles graduates. Established more than 40 years ago, both courses are renowned for producing some of the most talented Irish designers and creatives.

From travelling in Ethiopia to Vintage Street Fighter graphics, the themes explored were as varied as they were intriguing. The techniques used ranged from traditional macramé, hand-knitting and embroidery to CAD knit, laser cutting and digital fabrication.

Featured in the short film, styled by Kieran Kilgallon, photographed by Albert Hooi and sponsored by Brown Thomas, is the work of Holly Rose Twomey who was awarded the 2019 Irish Fashion Innovation Award.

Check out the video below to discover those designers you’ll be shopping in a few years time.
