Parisian brand Maje is now open at Kildare Village

The first stand-alone store of popular French label Maje is now open at Kildare Village.

Affordable luxury is a term that is often spoken of, but less often applies in the context it’s used. Parisian brand Maje, however, really does tick both these boxes, especially at the newly opened store in Kildare Village, where you’ll pay significantly less than traditional retail prices.

Maje, which was established in 1998, is known for its classic shapes and sharp detailing. It offers collections with a strong point of difference, but never sacrifices wearability or femininity. That’s why it’s become such a popular brand in this country; its cool aesthetic does not come at the cost of grown-up chic.

Parisian women are renowned for their inherent understanding of style, and Maje founder Judith Milgrom, who is also the brand’s artistic director, identified a gap in the market, which she felt she could fill with a Parisian-inspired brand that offered a premium product at accessible prices. The brand’s success to date is a testament to her vision.

The Kildare Village store is the first and only stand-alone Maje store in the country and will stock both womenswear and accessories. It’s the latest in a slew of cool additions to the Kildare Village portfolio, which includes recently opened Sandro, The Kooples, Reiss and AllSaints.

Forget having to travel to the French capital to find that sartorial je ne sais quoi, now you can simply pop in the car and pull in at Kildare Village.
