The sun is beating down in Florence at day one of Pitti Uomo, where more than 1200 women and men’s brands have converged to show off their latest collections. The energy is electric here and the fashion posse are decked out in their most Instagrammable ensembles.

What caught our eye today? The extensive array of new and up-and-coming international accessory designers. Like magpies, we scanned the show space for the most exciting, contemporary and charming designs to add to our collections. Below are three designers to get to know, straight from the Pitti Uomo show space. And when you’re finished shopping, take a look through our favourite street style moments of the day.

The label: Mr. Boho

Where? Born in Portugal but made in Italy

What? Sunglasses, watches

Why we love them? Don’t let the “Mr” put you off. The brand started life as a menswear accessories label but has since developed a unisex and womenswear collection. Born in Portugal but made in Italy, the brand takes pride in using high-quality materials that are at an accessible price point. Established in 2013, the brand is still finding their feet but have created a striking identity with avant-garde-but-cosmopolitan lens shapes and designs. We can imagine wearing ours with a cool, flowing summer Rixo dress and an oversized sun hat. This is a brand for non-conformists. Discover the brand here.

The label: Monika Kaminka

Where? Warsaw

What? Shoes, women’s tailoring, wedding dresses

Why we love them? Designer Monika Kaminska is establishing herself as a dominant force in the world of tailoring. Her pieces are both interchangeable and standalone and come in a variety of finishes. While the eponymous label comprised of only suits in the beginning, it has since evolved to include shoes and wedding gowns. Her expertise and craftsmanship have earned her coveted spots on Vogue.com and Vogue Italia.

The label: Fedon 1919

What? High-quality leather bags

Where? The Dolomites, Italy

Why we love them? Fedon is a rich-in-heritage, family-owned company whose roots are firmly stationed deep in the heart of the northern Italian mountains. The brand produces clean, sophisticated and grown-up styles made with strong, durable and soft leather. Though originally a menswear label, the change in the economy meant the brand needed to change too in order to survive the fury of the fashion industry. According to the brand, the Fedon woman is cultured and considers every aspect of her ensemble.
