Caitlyn Jenner is dominating headlines, and magazine covers of late so her enthusiastic reception at a Pride party in New York last night comes as no’surprise.

Caitlyn decided to drop by a Pride party in New York’s Dream Downtown Hotel after the parade was over. Transgender actress Candis Cayne was performing onstage and even dedicated I’m Every Woman to Caitlyn. According to Page Six the crowd chanted Caitlyn’s name.

It’s going to make great footage for her upcoming reality show?I Am Cait, which was shooting on site.
It’s been a pretty momentous month for LGBTQ rights in the world. What with our own referendum and Caitlyn’s Vanity Fair cover, ?and the rather big deal of the US Supreme Court ruling that gay marriage was a constitutional right.

US President Obama even referenced Caitlyn Jenner in a speech over the weekend when talking about how far society has come. At the Trailblazers Honors Awards he said: “(A)ll you have to do is look at this month’s cover of Vanity Fair to see how America is more accepting of people for who they truly are.? Pretty inspiring stuff from a?world leader.

Let’s hope that these landmark events lead to a new, more inclusive normal.
