Because her life is now a real-life romantic comedy.

Last year the world and its discerning mother fell for the talented comedic force that is Trainwreck star Amy Schumer, which is why we all feel very invested in her new relationship.

Schumer and boyfriend Ben Hanisch went public with their relationship via the medium that is Instagram on Tuesday night and we can’t get enough of the adorable. Hanisch posted the following photo with a caption evoking all the feels: ?Sometimes in life you get extremely lucky, and the smartest, funniest, most beautiful woman comes along when you least expect it. Hanisch is a Chicago-based furniture designer and his Insta game is ace so far. By ace we mean he’s posting nothing but lovely photos of him hanging with Amy, including a recent picture of them attending an event with her family at a White House highlighting America’s growing gun violence problem.

It’s an issue Amy cares deeply about, especially considering a gunman opened fire on an audience at a cinema screening of her movie a few months ago.

In further evidence of their collective soundness, the couple posed for another photo alongside which Amy posted a link to a donation page for the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Schumer’s father suffers from the disease and the actress fundraises for the charity regularly.

As for how the couple met, every tabloid going yesterday was swearing on secular bibles the duo met on dating app Bumble. Amy has tweeted a denial of that not-a-fact, saying she has never been on the app.

In actual news, her award-winning show, Inside Amy Schumer, got picked up for a fifth season. She tweeted about that and some other Big Life Developments yesterday. Run with that tabloids.?
