5 Series To Start Watching Tonight To Cure Your Monday Blues

All hail Netflix; the streaming site that never fails to cheer us up of a Monday. They are, quite, simply, knocking it out of the park in terms of quality programming with an array of series that are engaging, relevant and binge-watch-take-me-away-from-Trump-stuff worthy. And for those of you who wish to have no interaction with actual human life for the remainder of the night slash week, why not have a night in with House of Cards Season 5, Orphan Black, Flaked Season 2 with our very own Ruth Kearney or the excellent?Shimmer Lake. Here’s five Netflix Original Series to?curl up with:

Orange is the New Black Season 5 ?

Flaked: Season 2?

Chip returns to Venice after a short exile and finds that he is persona non grata. No store, no friends, not even a guest house to live in, and as he soon discovers, it’s a long road back to the way things were. Stars Will Arnett, David Sullivan, Ruth Kearney, Lina Esco, George Basil, Travis Mills, Robert Wisdom.

Orphan Black: Season 5

In the final season, Sarah and her sisters scramble to protect Kira from Neolutionists and unravel a mystery that stretches back more than a century.? Stars Tatiana Maslany, Jordan Gavaris, Maria Doyle Kennedy, Kristian Bruun, Josh Vokey, Evelyne Brochu, Ari Millen.

Shimmer Lake ?

Unfolding in reverse time, this darkly comic crime thriller follows a local sheriff hunting three bank robbery suspects, one of whom is his brother. It’s dark, twisted and addictive TV. ?Stars Benjamin Walker, Rainn Wilson, Stephanie Sigman and Ron Livingston.

House of Cards – Season 5 ?

The fifth season of the critically acclaimed Emmy?? nominated drama?House of Cards?is finally available to stream – hurrah! The series’ Golden Globe-winning show stars Kevin Spacey (as Francis Underwood) and Robin Wright (as Claire Underwood), whose characters have always been each other’s strongest allies, begin show cracks in their relationship after their relentless pursuit of power. This starts slow but there’s no stopping it once it builds momentum after episode three.
