Your Ultimate Guide To Wedding Guest Outfit Ideas

Wedding guest season can be an expensive time for us all and the stress of having an appropriate outfit can just add to those digits too! With this in mind, today I’ve picked out a key investment piece, a full skirt from Coast, to give you ideas on how to create at least three full looks, if not more, giving you more bang for your buck!

I opted for a full skirt style as they literally flatter ever body shape not forgetting how extremely comfortable they are. It’s a style that will take you from the wedding dinner to the dance floor in perfect harmony!

What’s more, is that with any of the looks below simply add a statement hat and your – At The Races? ready in seconds.

Key piece: full skirt from Coast : price €159

Look 1: The Crop Top

Crop tops are a brilliant way to balance out full skirts. Opt for a style that will sit just at the waistline. You will have the effect of a crop top but without showing your tummy area. If you do however want to show off a hint of midriff simply go down a size. As this particular style is a loose fit it’s a winner for big busts too!

Look 2: The Dress Effect

This style is one of my favorite fashion cheats. Go ‘matchy- matchy? you’ve got yourself a brand new outfit! Opting for fitted styles like this also gives you those perfect hourglass curves. It also gives that option to play on colourful accessories like a floral clutch and delicate gold heels.

Look 3: Bardot Inspiration

By tapping into the current Bardot trend this gives an instant lady like classic appeal to your look. Off the shoulder styles with this skirt combo works beautifully on an array of body types, such as apple, pencil, hourglass and pear shapes. Keep your accessories simple with black heels and a clutch. It’s a style that you can give more of a winter wedding vibe to also in the coming months with a simple black faux fur shrug.

For more full skirt styles and size options both Asos Curve and Littlewoods Ireland have a strong selection available at the moment catering for all sizes.
