Watch: A Woman Was Proposed To Over 100 Times – And Didn’t Realise It

Proposal videos are a dime-a-dozen these days, but even we’re seriously impressed by this one. The majority of us dream about the day our significant other will pop the big question – even going through the ordeal once would be memorable, but imagine you were “asked” the question almost 148 times, and without realising it?

A smitten Ray Smith from the UK wanted to come up with a unique way to ask his now-fiance?, Claire Bramley, to marry him and chose to do so via the medium of selfies, so that he could compile a video project to mark their engagement. Smith spent five months taking photos of the couple together, secretly flashing a sign reading ?Will you marry me?? in each one, before finally proposing on Christmas Day. He took 148 photos in total, which are now part of a video that’s been viewed more than 500,000 times and thankfully, after all that effort and on proposal 149; she said yes.

“I had no clue, I was totally oblivious to it all,” Claire, who is eight months pregnant, told The Metro. “He said he was taking the pictures to create memories for the baby, so I just let him get on with it.”

“I told her I was taking the pictures to track the progress of the baby, which was a little bit of a ruse,? Smith explained. “Sometimes she wanted to see the pictures, so I had to take more than one – one with the card and one without.”

The viral video is incredibly sweet, and we have to praise the guy for going above and beyond the standard proposal.
