Yesterday evening saw the internet go into overdrive after photos from the feature revealed the Cowboys & Aliens actress breastfeeding her son Otis. Explaining her decision to pose in such an intimate manner Wilde said “any portrait of me right now isn’t complete without my identity as a mother being part of that. Breastfeeding is the most natural thing.” Wilde went on to share the photo on her Twitter account.
Her next tweet thanked Glamour for publishing the photo and “for knowing theres nothing indecent about feeding a hungry baby”. Wilde, who is engaged to actor Jason Sudeikis of Horrible Bosses, is one of many Hollywood stars embracing breastfeeding in public with supermodels Miranda Kerr and Gisele also proudly sharing their breastfeeding snaps. Most of them weren’t wearing a Roberto Cavalli dress and Prada heels at the time, like Wilde was, though…
