Taylor Swift Teaches Us How To Deal With Trolls

Taylor Swift responds to hackers who threaten to leak nude pictures of the singer-songwriter.

We’ve written at length about how Taylor Swift is deservedly one of the most successful businesswomen of her generation and how she’s an absolute lady in her dealings with fans. Now, it seems she’s a badass when it comes to dealing with hateful internet trolls.

Yesterday Swift’s Twitter and Instagram accounts were hacked and messages were posted directing followers to an account that threatened to show nude images of the singer-songwriter. These hackers were asking for bitcoin credit in return for the reveal.

Taylor ruined these trolls attempts at creating a Jennifer Lawrence-esque scandal when she responded with a tweet saying, “Any hackers saying they have ‘nudes’? Psssh, you’d love that wouldn’t you! Have fun photoshopping cause you got NOTHING.”

She also delivered this zinger with a play on the lyrics of her hit song Shake it Off. Always pushing that brand.

Taylor takeaways? Never let anyone get away with threatening you and, where appropriate, push your agenda with viral wordplay.
