Kanye and Taylor Make Peace, Possibly Music

Taylor Swift and Kanye West have history. Quick search on Youtube history. The two giants of the music industry came into startling contact six years ago when Kanye stormed the stage at the MTV VMAs to interrupt her acceptance speech for Best Female Video. Kanye felt Beyonc? deserved the award, and let the world know.

However, all this awkwardness could soon be in the past. West told Ryan Seacrest in a recent radio interview that he and Taylor are discussing the possibility of collaborating. Kanye said, “Yeah, she wants to get in the studio and we’re definitely going to go in. Any artist with an amazing point of view, perspective, fan base, I’m down to get in the studio and work. I don’t discriminate, I don’t have an elitism of music because of, like, how many Grammys, or you know, the amount of ratings you get on an album.”

Pretty mature words from Kanye, even if he nearly stole Beck’s Grammy earlier this week. Kanye insists his near grab was a joke?

Do you think anything will come of Kanye and Taylor’s new friendship? What kind of music will these two even create? One thing we can say with near certainty is, Taylor will not be naked astride a motorcycle in any videos.
