Girls just want to have fun, and sometimes that fun is at home painting your nails without having to make small talk with a manicurist. That’s nothing against nail technicians, just that going it alone with a small bottle of colourful nail varnish is the most fun mode of mindfulness going. If you don’t meet a smudging disaster, of course.
One brand that gets this DIY desire is Rimmel, who have a new Super Gel nail polish on the market, complete with an exclusive two-step system for superior glossy colour and shine. The marketeers are saying that is lasts for up to 14 days, no UV lamps needed. Rimmel’s Super Gel polish comes in 20 shades, including 10 from the impeccable taste brain of Kate Moss.
To celebrate the gel polish’s arrival on these shores, global nail expert Adam Slee came to Dublin to talk influencers and media through the new product and the groundbreaking technology behind it. In attendance were Laura Kennedy of the Irish Times, Tropical Popical’s Andrea Horan and stylist Corina Gaffey, amongst others.
