Social Pictures: Launch Of Friday Night At The Mint Bar ? Cool As A Cucumber

Last Friday 22nd of April we were lucky enough to attend the launch of the gin-infused Friday nights at The Mint Bar – an original bank vault – in The Westin.?The Mint Bar hosted a cocktail evening to officially launch Cool as a Cucumber, a glamorous new Friday night series bringing gin cocktails, luxurious bites and soulful beats to the Dublin style set this summer. ?

We ate delicious?canap’s and drank Tanqueray gin and tonics, cocktails and gin-infused Raspberry Lime Bellinis while listening to house DJ Gil Murphy. If you’re a gin fan, we cannot recommend The Ultimate G&T enough – Tanqueray 10 premium gin, with fresh pink grapefruit, thyme and Thomas Henry tonic, served with a cucumber and mint gazpacho with cumin-spiced roast chickpeas.

Held in association with Tanqueray, invited guests on the night included UTV Ireland presenter Jenny Buckley, models January Russell and Laura O?Grady, Tropical Popical’s Andrea Horan, bloggers Louise Cooney and Lauren Arthurs, stylists Corina Gaffey and Brian Conway, fashion designer Emma Manley, and leading milliners Martha Lynn and Laura Kinsella.

Resident mixologists were also on hand at a specially-created gin and tonic station to design customised tipples for every taste. Cocktails at the bar included The Last Word, the Bramble, and the Pink Ink G&T.

Cool as a Cucumber runs every Friday night at The Mint Bar from 10pm.?
