Social Pictures: Launch Of The Darren Kennedy Recommends Specsavers Collection

The Specsavers launch of the Darren Kennedy Recommends summer collection was held at Forest Avenue on Thursday, 28 April 2016.

Fashion designer, TV presenter and Irish style icon Darren Kennedy has collaborated with Specsavers Ireland to create the Darren Kennedy Recommends collection – a carefully curated seasonal edit of his top glasses for men and women.

To celebrate the launch of the summer collection, Specsavers invited key fashion and lifestyle media and influencers, including Aoibhinn McBride, Holly White, Jeanne Sutton, Martha Connolly and Bairbre Power, to an intimate three-course lunch for a special sneak peek viewing of the collection.

Speaking about the collaboration, Darren says: ?My glasses are a huge part of who I am and what my style is. A pair of frames can transform not only your look but also a face. The right pair of specs can really bring your personality to life and that’s what I am hoping to do with my edit of recommended frames with Specsavers. I want people to not only look good but more importantly feel great in their specs.?
