The House of Peroni Presents: La Primavera opened last night in Meeting House Square in Dublin. Foodie fans turned out in full force to get a sneak peak of Peroni’s Italian pop-up that has taken over Meeting House Square to celebrate the new spring season.

Guests who enjoyed the celebration of La Primavera and the season’s new bounty included Xpos? presenter, Cassie Stokes, interior designer, Roisin Lafferty, stylists, Justine King and Irene O’Brien, illustrator Conor Merriman and some of Ireland’s top bloggers including Sarah McGinn, Aoife Carrigy and Lawson Mpame. They were welcomed by some of Dublin’s finest Italian eateries and artisan food suppliers; A Mano, Dublin Pizza Company, Luna, Taste with Gusto and The Crate Flowers, who? showcased their seasonal food and floral offerings at the market.

On arrival, guests were treated to the latest innovative Peroni infusion created by global brand ambassador, Federico Riezzo, aptly named La Primavera. They sampled classic gnocchi and homemade ragu from A Mano, and authentic wood-fired Neapolitan pizza from Dublin Pizza Company, while Luna took a bespoke approach to a meat board, serving salume in cones to guests. Take home elements of the market were brought to guests by The Crate Flowers, who created wild spring floral bouquets, and Taste with Gusto, who sold all of the traditional ingredients needed to make a delicious Italian dish at home.

The House of Peroni Presents: La Primavera at Meeting House Square, Temple Bar, Dublin 2, is open to the public today, for one day only?from 12 midday to 10pm. Entry is free, with access via East Essex Street. Over 18s only.
