The 2016 Dubai Duty Free Irish Derby took place at the Curragh Racecourse this weekend, and new mum Eva Hayes Morrissey from Castletroy, Co. Limerick was announced as the Most Stylish Lady. On the day, Eva was wearing a cream dress from Cork boutique Phoenix V, shoes by Carvella, hat by Irish Milliner Carol Kennelly and a clutch bag by Glitzi Bitz. She was chosen as the overall winner by a judging panel led by singer and TV presenter Rachel Stevens, Breeda McLoughlin representing Dubai Duty Free,? James Amos representing Boodles,? IMAGE Magazine’s Editor-In-Chief Melanie Morris and Irish Independent Fashion Editor, Bairbre Power.

Eva walked away with a luxury trip to Dubai, courtesy of Dubai Duty Free and staying in the group’s own 5 Star Hotel, The Jumeirah Creekside plus €1,000 to spend as well as return flights. Also included was an elegant Boodles diamond pendant from their chic ?Roulette? collection and an overnight stay at the luxurious Marker Hotel in Dublin with a luxury Ladur?e hamper.

Racegoers enjoyed Foodscape Kildare, which showcased the very best of Kildare’s food producers, artisans and suppliers in the beautifully designed Food Paddock area. With giant screens, guests saw all the action from the track and UEFA Euro 21016 matches, and were treated to a festival atmosphere with live performances throughout the day and an after races party featuring Electric Ceili.
