The Spring Gala and Law Society Gala took place recently at the InterContinental Hotel (formerly Four Seasons) in Dublin. The day began with the Law Society Skillnet Symposium, which featured a variety of speakers addressing the theme of the event,?Miscarriages of Justice. This was followed by a’drinks reception in the ballroom of the InterContinental Hotel with a black-tie dinner.?The special guest speaker of the evening was Alastair Campbell, former British Prime Minister Tony Blair’s spokesman, who spoke about Brexit. The event was MC’d by broadcaster Miriam O’Callaghan and all proceeds from the night went to the?Solicitors Benevolent Association.
