Spring was in the air for the launch of the 2017 Fairyhouse Easter Festival in House on Leeson Street in Dublin this week.

The Easter Festival which runs from 16th-18th April and features the Boylesports Irish Grand National, is the biggest event on the Irish racing calendar, and so the launch night was attended by some of Ireland’s top jockeys, trainers and owners including Cheltenham Gold Cup winning jockey Robbie Power; previous IGN winning duo Katie Walsh and trainer Sandra Hughes; and Gordon Elliot, a trainer who made a big impression across the water a few weeks ago.

Also in attendance was TV presenter Jenny Buckley who will judge the Carton House Most Stylish Lady competition at the 2017 festival; broadcaster Lorraine Keane and husband Peter Devlin; Irish ladies rugby’s Fiona Coghlan; and Rachel and Paul Carberry.
